Welcome to Colorado!

Colorado is much more than just skiing, although the state does boast some of the best skiing terrain in the world.  Colorado has a colorful past, including silver kings and robber barons, excellent educational opportunities, a vibrant capital city, some truly stunning mountain scenery, working cattle ranches, forgotten ghost towns, outstanding water rafting and golf, cultural events, high-tech corridors, world-class sports arenas, an educated, health-minded population and much more.   It is a great place to live or visit!

Even during this Recession, Colorado continues to thrive and grow.  At least one county south of Denver has been rated one of the fastest growing counties in the nation.  Fort Collins, to the north of Denver, has been rated one of the best small cities in the United States.   Climate is often what brings newcomers to the state.  The sun shines more than 300 days a year, and the air is dry.   Real estate prices have leveled off, but they remain high in some of the state's most famous towns, including Aspen, Vail and Beaver Creek.   Denver real estate is also slightly above the national median, but property in the cities surrounding Denver is less expensive and found in some great neighborhoods.  Real estate in outlying areas can be even less expensive.   Check these apartments in Colorado Springs that are conveniently located by great skiing!
