Vacation Rentals
The vast majority of vacation
rentals in Colorado are in the mountains,
although you'll also find some in the cities
along the front range (Denver, Colorado Springs,
Fort Collins, Boulder, etc.). Ski
towns, including Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge,
Winter Park, Copper Mountain and others, are
full of condominium and town home vacation
rentals. There are also some spectacular
single family homes for rent on a weekly or
monthly basis. Rates in these locations are often
less in the summer, even though the scenery is
spectacular year-round.
You'll also find vacation rentals in the
Colorado gambling towns, which are Blackhawk,
Cripple Creek and Central City. These
locations are small so the number of rentals is
limited. You might also consider some
lesser-known towns, such as Creede or Estes Park
or Grand Lake. They don't offer skiing,
but they are in gorgeous locations and are
wonderful for simply getting away from it all.
